Joseph is a walking encyclopedia of ultra rare disco and the
origins of dance music. He knows it cold whether it's
boogie, italo disco, disco funk (see the funk region mix in the
music section), cosmic, garage, or proto house that jacks
from Chicago in the early to mid 80's. He has a record crate
upon crate that is by far the most extraordinary and hard to find
in Boston which he amassed by digging through dusty crates and
learning the art of record buying on eBay. He's
a philosopher on the art of DJing and is a student of the genius
behind the great New York, Chicago, and Italian disco DJs like
Larry Levan, Ron Hardy, Larry Heard, Frankie Knuckles, and
Daniel Baldelli.
